Amy's going away card

my daughter Amy is in Kenya for 3 months volunteering to help in either a school or orphanage she went last week gosh it was upsetting waving her off at the train station, it will be her first christmas away from home will be strange amy is 19 and already been to borneo this yr to help look after the orangutans i'm so proud of her.

So love saturated canary stamps & digi's and thought this would be perfect to use, still learning how to colour but very proud of how this turned out i have been under the weather as been 7 weeks now since had my part hysterectomy & repair done.

I'm doing ok but my depression has been playing up this weather is not helping so has been nice to play in my craftroom, gosh can't believe i have had 15 operations this past yr with my kidney's think i need a good holiday just wish could win the lottery lol

Really happy how the card turned out so going to look for some challenges to enter once i find will link below  :-)

Quick card made today

Hi all well not been doing much just sorting my craftroom out for items to sell, so can buy more stash :-) thought would make a card for a change as not done one in a while, found my tired together folder and my new memory box butterfly stamp & die and this is what i ended up with

This was a quick card i made for chloe as she was going to prom to tell her how proud i am of her, this was made using the free embossing folder and stamp from simply cards & papercrafts.
I so love peacocks so can't wait to have another play and come up with different ways :-) just want to share with you all xxx

This card was made for a lady i know in simply betty stamps who's sister had a breast op, so quite a few off us got involed in making and send her a cardto help put a smile on her face through a difficult time in her life. cancer has touched many people including my family so to give people support from around the world that there is hope out there.

• I am so over the moon Trudie it made me cry plus speachless has put a huge smile on my face :-) was so much fun buying for someone else but also a nightmare, as so worried what i got trudie in case she would not like as we all have different tastes.

MASKING FOR THE FIRST TIME

 

 

Well today was feeling a little low so went into my craftroom to relax and chill out, only just got this stamp as been after him for so long so was excited to play. Thought would have a go at masking heard all about it so why not....

 

could not believe i nailed it first time so thought must be a fluke but no 2nd one went the same, so picked my colours out and had fun colouring Edwin with toy plane :-)

 

I plan to make a card tomorrow fingers crossed and will post on my wall, i'm so proud of myself and the way the shading and blending went well.

Had so much fun doing this card for the simply betty stamp challenge,http://simplybettystamps.blogspot.co.uk/

we had to do in cream and black but could chose one colour ourselves,  with having red hair just had to pick red lol just wish had the figure no comments about the snakes or will turn you into stone

Make it crafty digi

Had fun colouring this one in as love blue tried to have a go with the shading, the light coming from the front as wanted the front of her dress and bow to be lighter really pleased. will keep practising with other colour ways as well, just love Make it crafty have just brought some more stamps so will have a play with those and post onto here,

Day 2 of tidy up

Well spent some more time in craftroom sorting spent 2hrs in there moving stuff around and throwing things i don't know why i kept lol, yet when i walked back in looks no different to when i started :-( have looked on other site's to give me help on how best to have my items at hand, but having a big room is great but am just stuck as to where looks best that will easily find and get too.
So happy as got happy post come from http://www.craftworkcards.co.uk/default.aspx as they have a sale on could not help myself, also came from QVC the special value they had on for DCWV 100 sheets 12x12 they are fab well worth the money, only gripe as sorting through them some of the greens had marks on but can get around that am sure.

My first blog

This is my first ever blog hope I'm doing it right lol, gosh where do i start i started crafting 2 years ago after a breakdown which was very bad :-( but with the support of my loving husband and 3 wonderful children helped me come out the other side. I have always liked crafting of some sorts but only now and then, but a friend of mine sue ran a craft club asked if i wanted to go been going ever since has been a life saver to me as can take myself into another world where helps me relax.

I love to colour stamped/digi images and make cards which still learning all the technique's, been busy buying items off eBay and shows to build my stock up and have got addicted straight away. As most crafter's i have spoke to want it all ''NOW'' lol so funny to look back on cards i made 2yrs ago to what i make now, a huge difference as getting more confident to play have found myself stroking paper's and not wanting to use them as too nice so end up buying more.

Have to say my best buy is my big shot, pro markers, flex markers, spectrum noir pens also my lovely dies, just getting the hang of colouring this is a pic i did boxing day which I'm very proud of and some of my cards which i will put up later. http://www.annamariedesigns.com/ this lady is wonderful her cards are stunning and buy all my card stock from her when at the shows as such fab offers at the shows would recommend Anna Marie plus she is such a lovely lady. love to watch her when on create & craft with her designs and technique's need to practise some of her templates as my next goal.

Been sorting my craft room out with the help of my wonderful hubby Ady ( love you so much ) been fun, but having to pile everything everywhere so may take some time to finishes, but once done my new years resolution is to make more cards and sit and colour more as helps me to chill out.

Well thats me for now off to go and sort out the other side of room and get things in order so can play, oh yea forgot would like to share my xmas tree and one of the cards i made :-)
